HISTORY

In 2006, Dr. Antonio B. Jones,CPM, was led of the Lord to begin an institute that would allow individuals desiring to know more about Christ and the Bible to do so in a non-threatening, atmosphere of love, with instructors who actually believed and lived what they taught. Through its years of success and impact upon the students who attended and graduated under his leadership, a vision of the Global Teaching Network, Inc. was born. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Jones was confronted with a transitional season in his life to make the shift and depart from the former educational body of which he was a part to create another based solely on the design strategy given by God and focused soley on serving the needs of the spiritual needs of the students. The costly sacrifice rendered clearer insight, strategy, and development of what would soon become a greater regeneration under the auspices of Jones Ministries International.  Drs. Antonio & Amichia Jones firmly held to  John 12:24, which basically states that a seed must fall to the ground and die before can it become fruitful,more productive, and beneficial to others, thereby maximizing itself. This best describes the season of transition of the Institute & School of Ministry. Driven by hard work, a love for teaching God’s people and a commitment for seeing the vision come to fruition, the A.I.M.S. Bible Institute and School of Ministry re-opened its doors, remaining a fully accredited institution for Christian Education in 2012, offering distance-learning curriculums, certifications, ministry & leadership training, including licensure & ordinations. The Institute also conducts specialized trainings and seminars as requested by businesses, churches, groups, and the community on topics & subjects that best fits the needs of the specific organization.

The goal of the A.I.M.S. Bible Institute is to produce graduates who are biblically grounded, culturally relevant and spiritually mature. It is through our mission of:

           Activation-stirring up the gift and the desire of the believer to learn about Christ, his plan for redemption and how our role is a vital component

Impartation-making a revelatory investment into your spirit that will enable the learner to remain inquisitive about who they are as a believer and what they have to offer to the world.

Manifestation-evolving the student from hidden, undiscovered potential due to the constant sharing of what the student has learned.

Servitude- engaged service by taking everything that they have gained as a student and transform themselves to be more selfless disciples in their communities. This is the application phase of what has been taught and imparted.

 Students are guaranteed to leave the A.I.M.S. Bible Institute and School of Ministry equipped and prepared to serve in various capacities of discipleship within their local communities and church.
